Loretta Lynn Ranch Foreman Sings Praises for Fly Armor™

Hurricane Mills, TN (July 26, 2012) – Fly Armor, a revolutionary fly control product, is making waves among horse owners, ranch managers, and equestrians across the country, and its most recent fan is the ranch foreman of Loretta Lynn Ranch in Tennessee. The famous country singer’s estate boasts as many as 400 horses, mainly gaited horses and Quarter Horses, that take guests on trail rides across the rolling hills. Loretta Lynn Ranch Foreman Wayne Spears has become an advocate of Fly Armor, using the product around the barns, on trail rides, and even at cookouts to keep the bugs away.

Spears began using Fly Armor in June and has had nothing but success with the inserts, which attach easily onto bridles, tie into manes, or hang in the barn. “I absolutely love the product,” said Spears. “You can see the difference between a horse that has one tied in his mane and one that doesn’t. Its like night and day.” Fly Armor provides protection to horses, dogs and people against flies, mosquitoes, gnats, ticks and no-see-ums. The revolutionary new fly repellent system is also receiving rave reviews because it uses all-natural ingredients that are 100% free from toxic chemicals.

Loretta Lynn Ranch, which offers attractions like the Coal Miner’s Daughter museum, tours of the Loretta Lynn plantation, and a Native American Artifact museum, uses its horses mainly for trail riding. Spears said that almost every horse that goes out on a ride has a Fly Armor insert attached to their bridle or mane, and that you can look from one horse to another and tell which horse has an insert by the lack of flies. “The comfort of our horses and guests is very important to us, and I’ll even put one of Fly Armor’s inserts on the table during our cookouts. They keep the flies and other insects away,” said Spears.

Fly Armor is already amassing amazing success stories with regard to wound protection, pest- free trailering, broodmare care and, as evidenced by the accounts at Loretta Lynn, trail riding and other outdoor activities. “We hear from horse owners everyday who are so pleased to be able to control flies without repeatedly spraying chemicals directly on to their horses,” said Charlie O’Hara, of Fly Armor. “Wayne’s success at the Loretta Lynn Ranch is an excellent example of how our product can improve a ride or outdoor activity by keeping the bugs away.”

The Fly Armor replaceable inserts can easily be attached wherever needed, from halters, bridles, rider’s helmets and dog collars to manes, tails and more. They can also be used in stall doors and horse trailers. Riders can also enjoy a pest free ride with Fly Armor Helmet Bands that attach to their headgear. The Fly Armor insect repellent inserts are designed to last approximately four weeks, depending on the weather conditions. “The hotter the weather the better the product works,” O’Hara said. In summer temperatures, the inserts protect an area about 6 to seven feet in diameter and can last as long as a month. The inserts retail for $6.99 for a pair. The Fly Armor gear that holds the inserts are reusable and range in price from $14.00 to $29.00, about the cost of a single bottle of fly spray.
